1841 England Census

Ancestry has now added the complete 1841 census to its site.  The 1841 census is the earliest UK census of real use to family historians, its also the final census to appear online in full.  It includes England, Wales, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

The 1841 census contains great information on how key figures of the day were living. Why not take a look at Queen Victoria listed simply as “The Queen”, Charles Dickens, Benjamin Disraeli and Florence Nightingale - to name just a few.
